Mulky Campground

Drove through last weekend looking for winter camping. Going camping this weekend at mulky, and scouting the area. Looking more for free primitive camping so my dog can run. I've all nice size sites. Tent pads are different sizes so check recreation.gov for info and reservations as it fills up fast. Part of the cooper camp ground. Steam running through the grounds to trout fish.

We camped at #3, which is next to the restrooms. Wonderful time. We met and made friends (found neighbors from home, next door!), and enjoyed it as a base camp...until Hurricane Helene came and spoiled it for everyone. Kudos to the Forestry guys for evacuating everyone! Wasn't their fault. Great place for a base to do trails!

Loved the trout fishing here. We got a campsite and cooked our catch. Very peaceful!

Nice place 5 miles off the SR60. Trout stream, toilets, & water. $15 a night.

awesome place to camp, we stayed during the week, there was nobody at the campground and only a handful of cars came down the road the entire stay. it is very secluded right on the river, we all had a great time. Will be back!
