Lake Winfield Scott Recreation Area

Great campground. Almost every campsite on the south and north loop were very good. Added pictures of the Restrooms - a bit dirty, but the restroom at the beach pavilion was very nice.

Lovely lake and trails. Campgrounds are small but nice and some have power. Could be an exceptional place to view wildlife, but too many dog walkers have ruined any chances of that.

We had a wonderful time! Erin Ashworth was a wonderful campground manager who was there when we needed her but not invasive at all! We totally enjoyed our week there especially the creek that gurgled behind our campsite.

Loved the campground for years. Still do, but it's a shame the people handling it aren't taking good care of it. We were there 6 days and only noticed the bathrooms cleaned once. There's even a sign above the toilets saying they're cleaned several times daily. Please take care of this gem of a campground.

USFS Primitive campground. Very nice and quiet. Off the beaten path. We went for a day of fishing, hiking and picnic lunch!
