Mt Air Motel

I cannot say enough good things about this location and the staff! Our room was so perfect for us / our needs AND very reasonably priced! It was CLEAN and had everything you needed (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, oven, full fridge, cooking / baking ware, ear plugs, fans, space heaters, extra blankets, etc.) There are a few local restaurants (definitely stop by Zig Zag Inn for dinner) and shops (including a Dollar General for quick grabs) close by. The motel is surrounded by beautiful scenery and central to multiple attractions. On top of everything.. You could reach the "front desk" / staff via texting which was SO convenient! Especially after my boyfriend discovered his airpods were left behind when we were at the airport, about to fly home. The staff found them and mailed them

I stayed at the Mt. Air Motel in Welches, OR for what was supposed to be a three-night stay, and unfortunately, I became ill from the room. There was an unpleasant odor like something they sprayed when I arrived, and by the next morning I had a severe headache and swollen eyes. When I left the motel for the day, all my symptoms went away. When I stayed the night again, I woke up with the same headache and swollen eyes. Having happened twice, making it clear something in the room was causing the reaction. I checked out early for my own health and safety. I texted the property to let them know I was checking out and why and they said they would send someone over, but I had to leave for my event. Do yourself a favor and rent one of the larger rooms with a full shower unless you are a smaller person. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms and the corner shower was a nightmare. It was so small we had a hard time raising our arms to wash our hair (we are 5'11" and 6'2") and the side shelfs dug into you when you tried to move. I dropped my shampoo and the shower wasn't wide enough to bend over and pick it up. The floor was extremely slippery and I would have busted my butt if it wasn't for the fact that it was so narrow you didn't have room to fall over. The shower head was also weirdly high and only hit the shower door, so you had to use it as a removable shower head handle, which was hard with how narrow the shower was. ||We also underestimated the noise with how close we were to the

My first time staying there and definitely not my last! The little apartment was absolutely perfect, and I still can't believe the price! Super easy to book, check in and out. Clean, everything needed was there, and opening the door to relaxing music was great when we arrived! There were ear plugs provided, I guess for traffic noise, but it really wasn't bad at all, and I can't wait to come back even as a light sleeper. Awesome accommodation when you have dogs as well, my boys felt like home.

Our stay was awesome! The small apartment style motel was perfect for our stay. We had our 2 dogs with us, who also enjoyed the spacious motel. The kitchen is equipped with the basics to cook (silverware, pots, pans, and utensils). I would definitely stay here again! We loved it!
