Mountain View Motel

Awesome hidden gem of a duplex style motel that just so happens 2 b across the street from a cemetery.. Definitely good vibes all the way. Cute clean studio units w/ bathroom & shower & kitchen nook.

This is located in a historic district, that they are now renovating and making much more cleaned up and true to it's historic value but the hotel is self is way outdated and unamusing. The rooms themselves are practically prehistoric, with dirty white brick walls, old linens, no amenities or toiletries, and the appliances are as cheap as they could possibly get them, yet this place charges a little over $80 a night (which not even the cable service makes it worth it). Some of the rooms I've been told (but have not personally seen) has critters every so often and there's often problems even with obtaining toilet paper to where we've had to buy our own.

They kept our key deposit saying there was damage to the mattress when the bed was like that when we got there. The bathroom was disgusting I had to clean it myself. The cockroaches and crickets where plentiful. It's a nasty place that isn't worth the money you pay to stay there.

Management is very rude the rooms are filthy there is mold in the bathrooms holes in the walls the bathroom window is sealed shut and random strangers kept knocking on my door all hours of the night looking to buy drugs when I asked for toilet paper one night I was scolded and told "now is not the time you need to wait until morning for that" it was only 8 pm!! At $130 for the night $30 being a deposit they should have had unicorns bring me my t.p. if you're looking for a nice quiet place for a night or two KEEP LOOKING!!!!

You get what you pay for and if you're looking for a motel that's cheap like this this is a better one. I would encourage you if you're looking for a cheap motel to go here even though the place is what it is. There seems to be less activity at this place. The manager seem to be respectful and for the most part the rooms are clean just outdated. I would go here if I had to get a cheap motel
