Mount Royal Inn

I recently stayed at Mount Royal Inn and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the prices were very reasonable. The owner was also kind and personable. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay in Berlin,CT.

This is basically a hooker haven. Went there with my girlfriend during lunch and wish we stayed in the car. It smelled awful and the place probably wasn't cleaned in a year. I guess these Route 5, Route 6 old travel motels can only survive if off the the highway exit and a chain. If not you are relegated to a hooker, junkie or welfare destination.

As a weekly resident, I paid about $35/night to stay here, and I was fearful of what type of motel would have such low rates. A motel voted Best Value Inn, that's what! The staff were kind, accommodating, and personable. The rooms weren't spotless but they were spacious, generally clean, and had furniture of good quality. My only complaint was the wifi signal was weaker than optimal. Otherwise, you'd be very lucky to find a vacancy here

We really needed a place to stay while we were looking for an apartment. The hotel on site management we very accommodating and friendly. The wife and husband team here are really down to earth and, professional. The wife made sure that our room was clean, fresh towels and bedding. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. It's very rare that there are genuine people who take pride in the work they do.

Our room ....best room we have rented on pike thus far. Clean , bed, pillows and sheets were actually new!!! spacious and they actually have bathtubs . The owner personally walked us to our room [ He was so proud to show us our room] So we Won't be going anywhere else. Unfortunately there are a few "problem people " and Management is trying to clean it up, such sweet people it's horrible they are being taken advantage of and have to go to court to get nuisance renters removed . Weekly rate is affordable but probably wont be available for long because of the headache they are experiencing. I feel bad for them...i hope it gets better and future customers have respect and consideration for owners and renters after them.
