Johnson's Motel

I stayed there weekly for almost a year in 08-09 and for 3 weeks in dec 10. Rooms are clean. Original bathrm fixtures and tile no tub. Inside of toilet dated/stamped 1954. Had to fix flapper on it. Original knobs on sink sound like nails on chalkbound. When I stayed in dec 2010 in rm 8 the neighbor-permanent resident in rm 7 kept using the sink constantly between 3am to 6am every day waking me up and causing me to move out. Original solid maple furniture and has digital cable with ancient cable boxes. 2 rooms both share a single interior foyer. Strip club next door. Heard and saw prostitutes coming out of room next door during my first stay there. Has orig central hotwater heat so you will roast and cant adjust it from the room.

Room 9 was decent. No cockroaches or weirdos. It sure is an old beat up motel but it helped us get a roof when hiking the New England Trail which passes right next to it!
