Mount Pocono Motel

The place is under new management and has come along way in just a year not a bad place just to crash and spend a couple days out seeing the site's. Hungry not a problem Mi-Casa Restaurant is on site and has delicious homemade food.

I stopped by to eat at Mi Casa. As a Californian, I love Mexican food and despite my better judgement went to an easy coast establishment. The food itself was pretty good. However, the restaurant was gross. The table was sticky, the light fixtures were coated in dust there were toilet paper rolls near the seating area and most of my parties drinks tasted off.

Its unbelievable! In 21st century to keep this place and run it is an insult to people!!! We were driving from NY for3,5 hours in traffic to stay one night in PA. Ones we arrived we saw horrible surranding around this place. We made a reservation ahead and it wasn't cheapest price and upon arrival the attendant told us that they don't have hot water!!!! In the end of November there are people straight without hot water??? OMG!!!!🤮 how is it possible? So of course we were not in a mood to stay so we drove back to NY the same day because we didn't find any other place at the last minute. This place needs to be demolished to the ground! I world be afraid to get bedbugs from there. Disgusting!

It's a pretty okay place. I mean the wall/(paint or whatever) was peeling off and the heater in the bathroom was rusted but besides that it's alright. Just that the motel doesn't clean under the beds, and doesn't realize that the remote isn't there.

Have done a lot of updates. Fountain is working very pretty. Restaurant is awesome great Peruvian/ Spanish food. Very nice staff.
