Motel Trees

Hidden gem along the highway. It’s out of town, across from the Trees of Mystery attraction. We visited in the Winter and there was barely anyone here. (The attraction tram was down for the winter but still open). Julie at the front desk was informative and clearly cares about the property. The rooms look newly renovated, particularly the bathrooms. Super clean. We were so comfortable and it felt like a little spa get a way. It’s also much quieter since it’s not located in town. There is also an attached restaurant with the friendliest service. We were just passing through but would love to come back for a longer stay for the near by attractions and comfortable, and kind service. Side note: there was free wifi, a/c, heating, and a Smart Tv. They are had a larger fridge, microwave and coff

First, there is a sweet woman, who lives there, who runs the office. Professional and friendly. She started our experience with a pleasant introduction to the property. ||We asked to see the room first just to confirm that we were comfortable with the amenities and layout. Quite surprisingly nice! Spic and span. You know how sometimes you feel like the room is just hiding its dirty self behind the façade of clean? This place is absolutely clean. Everywhere you look. ||We believe the property was recently updated, but it still has the feel of a cozy, friendly mom and pop motel. Well run, everything you need. Loved the quiet location. ||Our room was adjacent to the highway because we arrived later in the day with no reservation, but we had no issues with noise! The motel was Perfectly locate

Great spot! We were here in the off-season and were the only ones here. Super quiet and clean. Quick access to Trees of Mystery and a trail to a secret beach. We had dinner at Blue Ox and it was also great.

In the middle of the woods is this quiet, quaint little motel. Their different themed rooms are cute! We stayed in the country room and it was spacious! Julie was very kind and even provided an informative binder in our room. If you are going to the Trees of Mystery this location is perfect. It’s right across the street and has an amazing restaurant right beside it. I would love to come back here and would recommend it to everyone.

My son and I stayed in Room 10 in July 2019. We booked for summer 2026. It's such a nice quiet area at night. The trees of mystery is an absolute must. There is a ski gondola that goes to the top and back. You get off at the top and meander around the beautiful redwoods. It's very fun and do not skip. There is also a beautiful Pacific Ocean Beach right next to the motel that hikes to the ocean. Not that far but not 2 seconds either. They had a restaurant when we were there too. Each room is decorated to a different theme.
