Motel 6 Williams, AZ - Historic Route 66

The location is amazing you are right on historical route 66 downtown Williams and everything is in walking distance I even understand that the rooms are very small because of how old they are, however, I would have thought about it I would have taken a picture of the room. It was the very very small room just a little bit of room around each side of the bed. A refrigerator that look like it was from the 60s, that vintage green and THE BED SPREAD WAS AS OLD AS ME! I understand the small space, as it is historical but there is no excuse for not updating your appliances and getting new blankets. I booked at Motel 6 in Williams through booking.com. When I checked in the room was extremely hot. Upon looking I found the control knob was missing and you couldn't turn by hand. I called front desk and reported it. The man called me a liar and hung up. When I can back I got the young lady that checked me in. She said I had to turn unit off and on by unplugging unit. I asked about another room she said they was all the same broken.

Positive: N/A Negative: I booked this hotel because of the Motel 6 brand name. What wasn't disclosed was that this is an old hotel recently acquired by a nearby Motel 6 & not yet renovated. Not even wifi was available in the room, & we had to go outside to use the internet.

Now know as Motel 6! We checked in twice as had paid for an extra sized bed but given a standard. We were first told there were no bigger beds but after asking for a discount one became available!! The room was dated, bed sheets too small and upholstered furniture dirty and stained. There are two different WiFi domains, neither worked in our room and when we tried to download in reception we were reminded that they closed in a few minutes. Not helpful staff. Cheap and cheerful but you get what you pay for.

Worst motel 6 ever room 123 still has no heat while the degrees are freezing on route 66! Can't believe they carry the name Motel 6 very unsafe property and u professional management.
