Motel 6 Tucson, AZ - North

The woman at the front desk was very helpful and professional, and made sure that my large party was booked into rooms close to each other. The room was comfortable, clean, and best of all, quiet. Overall, I was impressed with the hotel, especially the front desk attendant.

I checked in yesterday (02/24), and was so happy at first. The hotel is clean, the grounds are clean and well maintained, and the staff so far were completely welcoming and friendly. I work graveyard shift, and shortly after check in, I went to work. All was great so far. I even went out of my way to submit a check in review with Expedia.com (who I'd booked with), giving a glowing 5⭐ star rating. The next morning (today, 02/25), I got back to my room and took a shower and laid down after working all night. I am almost deaf and have extremely limited hearing, but was shocked and scared awake by pounding on my door at roughly 115pm. I answered the door and it was hotel maintenance, demanding entry into my room for what they called a daily wellness check. This completely flabbergasted me, as

A no frills Motel 6 but quiet, clean, and comfortable for our one night stay and it was under $100! Room 126 is spacious, parking lot level, comfortable king bed, strong water pressure, and I was surprised that the water from bathroom faucet was pleasant enough to drink. There’s no microwave, mini frig, or coffee maker and the bathroom supplies are just a couple small bars of soap. And they don’t serve a complimentary breakfast but will have coffee ready for you in the morning. I didn’t use the pool nor the ice machine so. I comment on that. But a special shout out to Eddy who check me in! He was very welcoming, helpful, efficient, and very nice. Despite the lack of fancy amenities we would stay there again if need be. This has been the best motel 6 that I have ever lodged at. The receptionist, John was very kind and helpful. The rooms were clean. They did not have the amenities that most hotels do like a microwave or a fridge in the rooms but the staff was very friendly, kind and accommodating. They really showed good customer service and it definitely made up for the lack of amenities.
