Motel 6 Troutdale, OR - Portland East

We stayed here twice the first time was ok. We stayed for a week, we made do. The second time we stayed for 2 nights and that’s about all I can handle of this place. According to their website you pay more for a room with a micro and fridge. I did that both times. However the second time there’s just a fridge. So I go back down and tell her what I paid for. She tells me that a microwave is not guaranteed. Why would I pay extra to gamble whether or not I’d have the amenities they advertised. So I ask if I can move to the 1st floor room where the WiFi doesn’t work (according to them) so I don’t have to go up and down the stairs back and forth from the “lobby” to use their microwave. She says that it DOES have both but her boss said she couldn’t change the room just because it didn’t have a m

Positive: Staff was friendly Negative: When asked for housekeeping after being there several days, rather than cleaning the room was given new sheets and basically told to clean my own room.

I have to say Thank you so much to Shirley at the front desk!! You are amazing!! My family and I were in a bind and we just needed a little more time and just like that Shirley took care of us!! No questions asked!!! I have never had such great service from any other hotel ive EVER been at before!! You all have it down to a science!! SMILES, FRIENDLY, AND UNDERSTANDING!! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!! YOU ROCK!!:-)

Great except for the terrible wifi. Constant disconnections and roughly 500kb(less than 1mb) download speed. Mcdonalds wifi has roughly a 7mb download speed. Also tthis place is in a bad spot inbetween a VERY noisy highway and a VERY noisy railroad less than 30 feet from some rooms. Expect to wake up from honked horns and thunderous trains rolling by. Otherwise fairly clean and well kept compared to some other places ive been to. Unfortunately Internet is very important to my job and i cant properly work here. so i wont be staying here again.

Absolutely the worst place I have ever stayed in the room was all needed updating contact paper was peeling off the bathroom door. The entry door looked like it had been for stand at sometime. There was no heat whatsoever not even a space heater the floor that I found didn’t work. I’m telling you don’t go there.
