Motel 6 Townsend, GA

BUGS!!!! idc what anyone says i had to sleep with roaches and bed bugs everywhere. the water came out brown. i tried to tie up a trash bag and a giant group of roaches and some other bugs fell onto the floor , me , etc. bugs all over the bed, under the bed, in the corners. and mold under the bed. blood on the sheets. i moved all of my stuff into one corner and into a bag, other stuff had to be thrown away. also these are BIG roaches and full grown bed bugs. spend your money on absolutely anything else. i’ve stayed in motel 6s all up the coast and i’ve never had to write a bad review for one before. This is disgraceful and disgusting and just wrong to have anyone sleep in.

There was a nail out of the wall that I accidently bumped into. There was holes in the walls that I took toilet paper and placed in the holes. The door to the room did not lock well which made me a bit nervous throughout the night. I did like the lighting in the parking lot... I was glad I was able to park my truck under the lights.

Spend more and stay somewhere clean! We paid $63, should have paid more and gone elsewhere. I can’t recommend this place at all. It was very, very dirty! |This place is gross! 🤮 bathroom door doesn’t close, wall between desk & tv covered in cobwebs, stained towels, toilet with mildew and won’t flush unless you hold the handle and the faucet covered in hair and yuck 🤢

Positive: Quiet and staff was nice Negative: Could be cleaner, rooms need some updating.

We had to call the desk worker to even get service upon arriving (he was at another store), and he proceeded to give us attitude when we tried to explain the ‘17 is free’ rule isn’t on the website. After, we got to our room, there was MOLD ALL OVER THE PLACE and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut; not to mention the cracks in the walls and sinks. The room smells like cigarette smoke and musk and one of the tenants left 8 beer bottles outside. Save your money and go to Hilton.
