Shellman Bluff Motel

We were there at Shellman Bluff Motel for a birthday party of family member. Many out of town guests. Most guests are used to a more upscale motel facility. The owners obviously tried to improve conditions of the rooms knowing that we were coming well in advance, so the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the sheets clean and fresh. Other linens, towels, etc, were sparse and not readily available. Fixtures in the bathrooms were in poor condition. No storage to unpack clothing. One lamp was not conducive for reading. Had to use overhead glaring light. Some shades at windows were inoperable. Air-conditioning units worked well. The private dock on the water was awesome and that's where we had the birthday party.

Excellent "Old school" feeling. Had a great long weekend! Wouldn't change it for the world if you want the feel of more traditional days gone by!

Rustic trip down memory lane, nostalgic 6 room motel with basic amenities, no pool, no phone, but great covered dock with picnic tables.

It was fun I think everybody needs to come try it do Shellman motel in Shellman Bluff Georgia y'all come on
