Eulonia Motel

Eulonia motel (called “The Country Inn” on its signage) was exactly what we needed on our way up to Asheville. It’s conveniently located just minutes off the highway. The rooms were clean, and the gentleman who owned the establishment was pleasant and helpful! We weren’t able to reach the place by phone, so we just showed up and were able to get a room. The pricing he offered us was less than the Motel 6 down the road, so we were very happy! He offered us coffee for the morning time, though we were taking off early so we did not take him up on that. There was a key drop box located by the office which making sneaking out early very convenient. Perfect place to rest & shower for a night! The location is also quaint, at night we could see the stars outside and hear the crickets 😊

We arrived in the rain around 5:30 pm. Grounds appear to be under some development but the room was clean, water heater had been worked on so was not hot on inspection but was boiling hot the next morning. There were some disgruntled guests in other rooms who were less sanguine about waiting for a shower. There was a fridge and micro in the room.||||There was little road noise to be heard (after the rain stopped splashing in a puddle at the end of the covered walk (needs a gutter set up).||||The next morning, the manager walked the grounds and asked Sam how the room was. He was very polite to us.||||My only real concern is over price. We were quoted on price during the room inspection and I was charged a higher price in the office. I suggest calling ahead for a firm price; also check

Stopped just to spend the night while on a multi day drive. Lovely place for the price and very clean. Owner was super friendly and even brought me coffee to my room in the morning. Called country inn on the road signs so that should probably be updated.

Found this friendly motel on Google, but only after zooming in on a smaller red dot! Stayed one night during 50-day bike trip. The owner, Mr Brar, is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and takes the time to talk to his guests. The rooms are fine, a basic motel with a good atmosphere.

I went there to purchase a mattress and box spring set,used_a full. Ended up with a Queen. Doesn't fit my bed rails. But I turned it sideways.
