Motel 6 Tallahassee, FL - Downtown

The lady at check out was extremely polite and friendly however the upkeep of the motel left something to be desired. When we arrived, the area near the stairwell had 15 or more large piles of dog feces. The Internet on the television was iffy and would not work. The shower curtain was falling out of the wall and was difficult to keep closed. The tub had been painted multiple times and was peeling. There were stains on the wall, ceiling, and floor. The bedsheets did appear clean at least, thank goodness for that. We also heard arguing during the night, people who appeared to be long term residents were walking back and forth screaming obscenities that woke us around 1:00am. Price for what you get can't complain. $66 Room is spacious, CLEAN, bathroom tub has been painted over a few times but still SUPER CLEAN. Front desk was SUPER FRIENDLY and saw a few interactions of other people staying here and they were VERY HAPPY.

Positive: Location & friendly staff Negative: Lots of mold in bathroom and shower. Television didn’t work. Lots of construction at the hotel. Poor smell in room

Faucet ran non stop in shower. Gap under door let in cold air and cigarette smoke. No safe place to walk dog. Domestic altercation between other guests at 1 AM was scary! On the good side, the shower was hot, the room mostly clean besides needing mopped and no bugs.
