Motel 6 Simi Valley, CA

Not ever coming back to this hotel. firstly bring extra bedding as mattresses are ouch worthy. front desk, even a couple years ago, used to be hospitable, customer service quality and polite but now don't even smile, and leave someone standing there for coffee they promised to bring out. stand around for a while ignored, we understand why. apon arrival were police cruisers and ambulances in the lot, never affected us but thank goodness our room was not in vicinity of whatever could have been going on. this place has really gone downhill but it's the service factor mainly vanished. every time we dealt with the desk they talked down to us. go another place to get a cup of Joe, and trust spending a little extra will get you much more, especially if you're looking for a nice experience or on a

Reserved our room and used my AARP card for their discount. Which was great.|Got a phone call in the morning while on our way to the hotel asking us if we would agree to an upgrade to a different room. She apologized for any inconvenience and described the room we were going to get.|We agreed to the upgrade.||When we checked in and went to our room, we found out it was NOT an upgrade and we got our original room.|We were disappointed that they had lied to us so theres that.||2nd they don’t honor AARP late check out which AARP states, is supposed to be another benefit. Late check out at 2 pm.|So although Motel 6 honors the AARP card for a discount they don’t honor AARP late check out. And they WILL lie to you about rooms they will give you.||VERY DISAPPOINTING!

Hotel is great, there is no Shampoo, I remember when Motel 6 had shampoo in the bathtubfor at least a person or two, and coffee is not in the room anymore; you have to go to the front desk, and don't talk about water—there is no water. if you don't bring your drinking water, you are out of luck. this review is not only for this Motel 6, is for all Motel 6 locations, all the same

No internet, no land phone working and furnitures are too old and no room cleaning done during my stay….

I really enjoyed stay at motel 6 on Oct. 31 We had an emergency and had to state at a motel we selected motel 6. The employee were real enthusiastic and accommodating. They were there To help us with our emergency.
