Motel 6 Salinas, CA - North Monterey Area

Excellent. VERY pet friendly. Gated in area to safely walk pets at night. Dog poop dispensers, and honestly, you could walk your dog off leash, as the only opening is in the front gateway. Exceeded every expectation. For the price, amazing value. Our check-in agent was Daisy. After a nine hour drive to go to a funeral, she was a warm and welcoming soul. This was our best experience in a long time.

What a nightmare. Avoid at all costs. $140 for this POS. Their manager refused to refund or make any adjustments and obviously they don't care about the conditions. ||=sheets covered in stains|=room was freezing with no temp controls whatsoever. We had to sleep in our sweatshirts and snuggle to stay warm. I gave my kid a towel as an extra blanket. Never been so cold in my motel before.|=shower head didn't work and just squirted up the top and not actually out of the shower head|=TV didn't work at all|=Guests were the worst behaved people I ever saw, just swearing at the top of their lungs until 11 pm when they finally settled down. "Hurry the F up, i'm cold! (I laughed).|=towel had blood stains all over it (NICE!!!)

I'm visiting from home which is in Alameda County. Used to live in Salinas. My room is clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. I always stay at Motel 6. Only things lacking at this location is that the room didn't have a fridge or microwave.

Positive: Location and lrice Negative: My wife and I found a few hair residue in our beds. Rm 214. Smell of Marijuana is pretty definite from outside. Coffee should be ready for the whole day, in my opinion.

During annual health exam, my husband and I decided to stay in hotel. We had more time for recovery. We did the right choice! Motel 6 is wonderful! We lived in clean and cozy room. We were able to rest watching TV. Internet, microwave, and refrigerator were available. Prices are fantastic! It is twice cheaper than in ordinary hotels! Service was amazing! All members of the Motel 6 team were polite and friendly! My husband and I plan to come back to this wonderful place again! Thank you for your great service!!!
