Motel 6 Salem, OR

I haven't been here in along time. I was shocked it was way better than I remembered now 5he staff a lady that helped me was so amazing and got my tired d9g and me into our room so fast I was impressed by clean it was inside the room the parking lot and office ppl put down this motel 6 alot but you definitely get what you pay for. I love this motel 6 and definitely would go back no problem might schedule for a few days next month. The bathroom was very clean. T.v was just the right size, big big parking lot the bed was actually one of the best beds I've slept in in a long time.its a really great motel and I will be going back for sure. And 5hey have a smoking room how awesome is that these days my dog potbrownie feel asleep right away.and posted the Pic here for all of you to enjoy so stop

Remote was broken, no replacement. Reserved 2 queen beds but beds were full size. Notified desk and was told they are queen beds. I am 6’6” and KNOW bed sizes. Queen beds are 60” by 80”, these beds were 52” by 72”, which are full size measurements. I know it’s only a 2 dollar difference in price, but the point is I wanted queen beds for my height. We also had 2 dogs in which 1 sleeps with me and 1 with my wife. So that extra 8” makes a difference. Light didn’t work, ceiling fan in bathroom didn’t work. Rooms were clean. Normal motel 6 stuff.

The front desk guy, Jose was super nice!! Easy check in, room good for price, sheets were clean. Thanks for leaving the light on for us Jose (& covering for Tom Bodette)! Lisa @ front desk upon check out was just as sweet as Jose, nice to see a smiling face in the morning! Not the best Motel 6 ever stayed at but the front desk staff made our stay :-) Jose & Lisa, ya'll rock!!

Room was clean, staff friendly, serviceable wifi. That’s the good. Hot water took 5 minutes to appear in shower, never at all in sink (which leaked on floor). No mini fridge. Location was barren of walkable eats. Worst of all, dog area was so filthy with poop that you couldn’t step in it. Stay somewhere else, even if it costs a coupla extra bucks.

Positive: The lady on the front desk, she was so kind she had a nice attitud Negative: Lots of weird people hanging around, no microwave and no refigerator like other hotels and not the cleanest inside also few damage on the walls
