Motel 6 Rockport, TX

My husband and I are very happy staying here. This will be our 2nd week. He is here on a job. The price is right for sure. The staff are great. Ive seen no bugs what so ever and they even had it sprayed while we was here to make sure they don't have bugs. Only thing I have to say that would be negative is the coffee pot, fridge, and microwave are a bit rusty but they are clean besides that. I would recommend anyone to stay here. I know every one has their own opinion and some are pickier then others but for the price and how clean it is and knowing that they stay on top of a possible bug problem is A OK in my book. Plus the staff is amazing. Thank You everyone for making our stay in Rockport a good one. 🙂

Positive: location Negative: I was on second floor and only 1 ice machine for entire hotel located by office. Also, no drinking cups in room. There was coffee cups, but no cups for water.Finally, the toilet paper was not good quality (too thin)

Rude manager who works in office would not give us another room. Gave me a hanger to unclog my sink. Mold on ceiling in bathrooms, wet floor due to air conditioning not working correctly, black mold & water outside room on air conditioning unit, dirty rooms,dead roach in bathroom to welcome me, trashy grounds, a young adult kid walking around parking lot talking to himself loudly every day we were there, told by manager my dog better be in a cage.. I have a sweet pug.. really...manager also gave me a dirty look when I asked for towels. This manager is beyond rude. I don't want anybody else to go through what my family did staying here. This place is a dirty mess & management don't care about your concerns or anything. Do not book here!!

Stayed over 2 weeks, nearly 3. Didn't get toilet paper for first 10 days. Had to buy my own. Huge room and closet were nice to have. Nit once did they make the bed or sweep the room even when I asked them to. Excuses are plentiful with day shift clerk/not sure if she's a manager about changing microwave because it had rust so bad I was worried about contaminating my food. Even when I told "clerk" about microwave, she stated she attempted but when people are asleep it nats it difficult. I told her, no one will be there on certain days, they can clean and replace microwave then. Now, 3 weeks later, still no microwave and room had not been cleaned once.

I can not make this up even if I tried. They were super nice. I did not complain either. Because When we got there I thought my kids took a shower while I was asleep turns out they didn't. They were dirty towels left from the previous people. Only reason we found out was because I found pajamas that did not belong to us. Really cute ones too. So I asked them about it. Really gross.
