I’ll be honest — this was the option we had at the moment, and we chose it because we just needed to get somewhere fast to rest. We know places like this usually don’t smell the best and sometimes you see bugs; that comes with the price, and we understand that. However, what really bothered me was the situation with the bathtub. After we showered, it got completely clogged. We left for a bit, came back, and it was still the same. We asked for help and were told there was nothing they could do — that we had to wait for maintenance, who of course never showed up. We even asked if we could use another room just to shower, and the response was basically “no, this is what it is.” No help, no solutions, and the staff was quite rude about it. I have stayed in some sleezy motels in my young lifetime but this location took the sleeze cake!!! I was traveling to the Orlando area for my granddaughter's skating competition and I found this Motel 666 that was within 10 minutes of the rink. I booked a queen room online for two nights. Upon arriving I was told there were no queen rooms and that I would have to take a double. I travel with my dog and was pleased that they had no "Pet fee," but I need that 1 bed arrangement in order to have room for her kennel. I was already feeling skittish about this place with the homeless folks and all their belongings just outside the office area. I figured they were waiting for a room voucher. Ive been living here long enough to say that never judge a book by its cover! I have never had any issues or ever felt unsafe. When I tell you the General Manager James is on his JOB! He is front and center and never skips a beat! He makes sure he deals with every situation accordingly and keeps this environment and your stay safe and comfortable. The staff are amazing and so kind and sweet! Everyone treats you with a smile! I will definitely keep coming back! Im giving it a 4 star across the board because improvements are always being made here. They truly work hard to make this a nice place to stay! COCKROACH INFESTED. Within the hour (as I was bringing our things into the room) a cockroach had found its way onto my and my daughter's lunch that I'd placed on the room's desk. I called the front office to tell them they had roaches in the room. They said they would switch my room to which I asked if I could get the key to the new room so I could move my things directly into it, but was told "No," I had to put my things out of the current room first (I was on the 2nd floor and had already spent 30 minutes transfering my and my daughters things to the room going up and down the stairs and would have to load it all in my vehicle again before being given the key card to the next room). I then asked if the other room had been treated more recently for bugs and the woman on the phone hung up
