Motel 6 Oceanside, CA - Marina / Camp Pendleton

I honestly cannot believe this. This motel does not have a hair dryer. It doesn’t even have a microwave. They told me that because the room was newly remodeled, these items are “not mandatory.” How is it even possible to open a motel room without a hair dryer, unless you are intentionally trying to drive your business into the ground? I have never experienced anything like this in my life. This is absolutely unacceptable and the worst motel experience I’ve ever had. What kind of guest makes a reservation assuming that a motel room will NOT have a hair dryer? Who would ever think that? If I end up getting sick because I couldn’t properly dry my hair, then who is responsible for that? Is this not the motel’s responsibility? Big rooms, sufficient parking. Historic purple castle location still staying true to tradition; Best value, but still costs same as next door per month. NEXT DOOR is where complainers/nitpickers publicizing their intimate investigations of unpretentious "budget" motel rooms [as though they were lured there with ostentatious fantasies of licking every inch of a vintage legacy motel bathroom] should go in the first place(longer leases, but unfurnished).

BEWARE! This place is TERRIBLE! I travel a lot and have stayed at some pretty questionable places so by no means am I freaked out by below average accomodations, but THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE DUMP.. The staff is rude and really could care less about you . The rooms are in complete disrepair and are incredibly noisy. There are people living here full time (I should have noticed this upon further inspection) with sketchy dogs and shady characters everywhere, tweakers and trash all over. The people LIVING above me we're vacuuming at 2:35 A.M.! Loud televisions and conversations at 4:00A.M from all sides,. and I had to finally personally go to the office at 4:30 A.M. to speak with the guy (who could care less) to see what could be done, which was nothing.
