Motel 6 Monterey Park, CA

I had a confirmed reservation at this Motel 6 for Valentine’s Day at approximately $90. I arrived before 6:00 p.m., only to be told my reservation had been canceled without any notice. Front desk staff openly stated that rooms were being resold due to high demand at rates between $300–$360 per night. Several other guests were there experiencing the exact same issue. We were all told nothing could be done. What made this worse is that the manager, identified as “Sam,” reportedly left the property before guests began arriving. He left young front desk employees to deal with the fallout while upset guests — many of whom had nowhere else to go — confronted them. Positive: Absolutely nothing! Negative: The worst hotel I have ever stayed in my entire life. Absolutely filthy dirt around the toilet dirt in the shower chipping walls phone not working heater doesn?t work. The hotel is awful. Do yourself a favor and never stay here!

Very sketchy filthy motel. Homeless sleeping in the stairwells, people having sex in their cars in the parking lot. 3 friends each had our own room and each room was either dirty or had things broken. 1 friend awoke to roaches in her bathroom. The security latch on my door was completely busted. Cigarette burns in the sheets. Very low water pressure. Don't walk around barefoot, the floor is filthy. Extremely small pet relief area that is made completely inaccessible if there is a car in the parking space next to it. Broken ice machine

This motel 6 property was amazing as I entered the property. All the rooms are clean and the staff are very nice and friendly. Check-in was quick and easy. Overall I slept well and had a good stay. I would come back here again. 10/10 Excellent

Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I always pay via Agoda or Expedia but as soon as I came to check in I was told they didn't receive third party reservations, I was then told I could get a room for $120 with no tv... not only was i told my reservation was not accepted but they do not care that their property is still on the Agoda website causing issues with the customers due to the managers/properties lack of responsibility, care, and experience for said customers. This place SUCKS
