Motel 6 Mojave, CA

For a motel that promotes having kitchens in rooms, need to provide all facilities, no plug for the sink, no washing up detergent or cloths etc. Housekeeping very poor as saucepan/pots filthy with remnants of food, boiled water in them to clean up as was going to cook something but changed my mind. Coffee mugs needed cleaning as well. Floor seemed sticky with residue on it? Bed comfortable, hot shower good although shower head needs a clean/descale. Towels were the smallest I've seen in any place I've stayed in, suitable for a small child, not adults!

Geographically, this is where I needed to stop for the night along my trip. My low rating is divided equally between the property itself, and the depressive town of Mojave.||My room faced the highway and the train tracks--noisy.||One set of neighbors enjoyed listening to loud music in their dilapidated car while smoking pot...a lot of pot.||My other neighbors enjoyed having loud, on-going arguments with each other, with their young child in the room.||I brought these observations/concerns to the attention of the front desk staff.||He was indifferent, at best, and said there was nothing he could do.||Room itself was in fair condition. I am currently staying at Motel 6 in Mojave (6958 CA-58) and still have one more week left. I want to start by saying the staff has been friendly, and I am grateful to have a place to stay while going through a difficult time. However, the cleanliness of the rooms needs great improvement, especially for the price. I am paying around $900 for two weeks, and at the very least, I expect clean sheets and a sanitary environment. When I first checked in, there were holes and stains on the blankets, which I took photos of. Even the pillowcases that appeared new had visible stains. The bathroom, especially the shower, had an unpleasant odor coming from the drain, and overall, the room did not feel clean. I am not trying to complain, but basic cleanliness should be a standard. This place was God awful to stay at while was out of town for working. I had two weeks booked there, and all they could obsess about is me being on the room which I was my name was my wife booked it for me. But since she booked it and added me as the one checking in. They still were saying I was not on the room and after a whole week of being there they still had a huge ridiculous issue with the support problem, even though I was on the room. So I decided to leave at 8 o’clock at night to the best Western. I will never stay at a motel six again. Also, remind you there was cockroaches in the room That’s just not me saying it lightly or mad about the situation that they had with the name issue supposedly I had killed a couple cockroaches so thank God I had this issue with them to be able to
