Aerospace Inn

When we arrived in Mohave on an evening in late September the outside air temperature was still 90 F. All the air conditioner units in the building were running full blast (as one would expect), but because their exhausts point directly out into the semi-enclosed walkways and emit heat the temp just outside each room door was above 110 degrees. Our room at the Aerospace Inn was on the second floor - heat rises so that upper balcony was like a fiery oven. When we entered the closed up, un-airconditioned room that we were assigned it had to be around 130 degrees inside. The cooling unit was very loud & only worked with the fan on low, causing it to take many hours for it to finally reach a bearable (yet still uncomfortable) temperature. I was so hot while trying to be inside the hotel room

The host was gracious, the dated room was clean and the tub has HOT water !! Certainly one of the best for the money hotels in California.

Needed a place to sleep after being on the road longer than I expected. Aerospace inn was just what I was looking for. It’s close to the highways. For the amount of time I was looking to spend here, the price was right. Pros: close to the highway. Price was acceptable. The staff were nice. I pulled in at 11pm and they opened up the office. They have surge protectors to give additional power outlets. The rooms have plenty of light. Decent fridge. Cons: the bed was stiff and the bedding was thin. I really just needed a place to sleep for the night and this place fit my needs. The rooms did not have any bugs and I felt secure sleeping there. I would stay here again if needed. The owners/operators were nice to interact with.

Gross. Rooms look nothing like what is on Google Maps. Absolutely filthy chairs, greasy handprints on door, walls. Sink not clean, dollar store shower curtain. Just gross. I should have slept in my car, this isn’t a $75 hotel.
