Budget Inn of Mojave

It's not worth at this price range. The whole place has a depressing look even before you get in to the room. The room was okay in terms of cleanliness and basic stuffs but it was cold because the insulation is not proper. There's a broken part on the door which let air coming. The bathroom is also extremely cold even though the heater was running. The heater makes a lots of noise as well.

Excellent service and very nice people. I've been to Cal City twice since moving out of California and that is the only place I would stay.

I'll admit, I stayed here solely because this was the motel from the film From Dusk til Dawn. That's just too cool to skip over. ||Getting past that, this place was basic but that was expected and was perfectly fine. It was clean and quiet with a really big bathroom. I'd definitely stay here again.

Door was so hard to open you had to push in, room has a weird odor, dusty and overall pretty beaten down and unkept. Location is good overall but you can hear the trains passing by pretty loudly.

I've been coming to this little lodge for years. I've just made my first visit in two years. My own routine was the only reason I was away so long. I was thrilled to see that nothing has changed. The rates are excellent. Especially by the week. It's the perfect spot for workmen who need temporary extended lodging. Rooms are all you could ask for. Impeccably clean, spacious, comfortable. Plenty of eating places and a major food store in walking distance. Quiet and serene. And most of all, the fine, fine people, a family, that operates the motel. I'll be a patron for as long as I need them. And they will always be first on my list.
