Motel 6 Mineral Wells, TX

I have been coming to Mineral Wells for years between March and May working with horses for the rodeo. The last several years I always check into motel6 and everytime I see the same kind women with a beautiful smile on her face as she greets me at the door! Gwen just keeps that place running and keeps customers like me coming back! The building is being remodeled but the rooms are still big and roomy, the new guys Dave and Drew are pretty cool kids and have their heads on their shoulders pretty good, I like that those young men are making this place look good and handling business between Gwen, Drew, and Dave the ole 6 is moving on up! Now on to the building. Bed is always comfortable, I sleep like a rock, the cleaning ladies know their jobs, bathrooms are big and easy to get off the thron

Haven't stayed there in awhile but they have really fixed a lot of the issues they had ..but my main reason for continuing to stay with them has always been their manager Gwen. She is very professional but also super friendly and if you are having any kind of problems she always gets it taken care of in a timely manner. Gwen DEFINITELY makes the Motel 6 in Mineral Wells a go to place for a lot of continuous business. She is the heart of the place!

Room was spacious very comfortable, I wish they offered breakfast but they do have coffee in the lobby and it was good. Gwen at the front desk was really nice, she will get you a great deal if you book with her. It doesn’t look like the pictures online but I had a good stay for the price.

There was visible blood on the walls, the toilet was dirty, and the room clearly had not been properly cleaned or sanitized. Second night (even worse): Unfortunately, we didn’t discover the full extent of the problem until the next morning. The bed linens and mattress were covered in blood stains — not small or old discoloration, but obvious blood stains. The beds were unsanitary and unsafe. This is a serious health concern, not just a cleanliness issue.
