Motel 6 Lindale, TX

Room was clean and bed was comfortable, but it was clear there had been significant flood damage that had not been taken care of. Flooring was loose and dangerous and bathroom needed to have toilet and tub replaced. Water pressure in sink was wy to high. Each time the faucet was turned on water sprayed everywhere across the counter and mirror. The room should not have been availabe for occupancy. When AAA tried to work with them for an adjustment the refused to do anything. I would never stay here again.

The floors of the hotel room were buckling and coming up. The shower curtain had mold all over it, and the bathtub was extremely slippery. A lady in the room next to us fell trying to get out of the tub because it was so slick. The comforter on the bed had cigarette burns in it. (We were in a non-smoking room. O The parking lot is also very dimly lit making it a bit scary. Unless some updates are done, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay away- no matter how good a deal looks.

This Motel 6 falls into the solidly just fine category. The room was largely clean the bed is comfortable enough, there are about 6 power outlets in the room, the door locks, and there's lots of hot water in the tub. Microwave and mini fridge work. Now for the nitpicking, the king size bed has three thin pillows, one of my towels was stained enough to be a bit squicky and there might be tiny bits of mold in the tub corners. Also the ceiling in the bathroom looks like someone stopped mid repair before repainting it. Nothing drastically bad but definitely room for improvement. The price was right though at just over $60 a night and no pet fee. They traded out the towel when I asked.

Motel was clean and quiet. The property is infested with crickets. They are crawling everywhere. One cricket got inside and sang all night. Motel on site manager didn't seem to care about the crickets.
