Hampton Inn Lindale/Tyler

Im not usually one to complain, but this is the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had. The customer service by Joe is top notch, hes great my grievances come from things outside of his control. Mainly the comfort and freshness of the beds, I am making a 2000 mile trip and this is my first overnight stop. And how disappointing and UNCOMFORTABLE. I am exhausted and cannot sleep. The beds are hard as a rock. And then the pillows are so soft they give no support. I literally had to roll together the comforter from the other bed and use it as a pillow. The room looked very nice and well put together but all of the linens smell so bad and stale. I was given another bed set. Also stale I have had to dowse all the sheets in fabric freshener. Like someone left them in the washer way too

This was our second time staying here while road tripping out west. Darron at the front desk was friendly and professional. Easy check-in! The rooms are clean and spacious typical for the brand. |We would have ranked this 5 stars, but once again, there was no dietary information available at breakfast. My wife and I have a gluten allergy and have to be very careful. Some items are obvious, but things like potatoes and sausages can have sneaky gluten. Hilton management - if you are providing breakfast, you need to have dietary information available. This isn't hard.

Our room was very nice and super clean, including the microwave, mini fridge, and coffee pot. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast both days and were very impressed with the sweet young lady, Kinsley, who made sure everything was delicious, well stocked and clean in the dining area. She was very efficient and friendly too. As was every staff member we encountered. It took us only 30 minutes to get to the flea market in Canton and was near many places to eat. We will definitely return here next time we go to Canton.

Average at best. Staff was ok. Breakfast was a joke, I wonder if that’s because McDonald’s is 30 second walk away.

We are running into this issue at most Hamptons we visit, which makes it a real hassle when trying to stay safe and not get glutened.
