Motel 6 Lebec, CA

Overall my stay was exactly as expected. Staff was plesant. Safe parking for my truck and trailer. Standard low budget room. The beds were updated but cheap. Just a nice memory foam mattress on a steel frame. You get what you pay for and you won't be disappointed. For $60 I can't complain. The only negative is I recently bought an Olight Ark Pro Ultra and have been checking my rooms with the black light. Do Not Make My Mistake! Some places you will be impressed my how cleam they are. But other times.. It's upsetting. The godsend was the new clean beds.

I usually avoid Motel 6 and most economy hotels, but needed a place to stay on my way to Sacramento. If this is the direction Motel 6 is headed, they are doing something right. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. No safety issues or sketchy people roaming around. The bed was quite comfortable. Overall, this is what most Motel 6's used to be - a no frills, clean and budget oriented motel. I hope other locations will follow suit.

Good location. Great bed. However, several window blinds where missing so people could look into the room. The bathroom faucet shot water in every direction. Shower worked but water came out of many directions. Back door to the hotel has a key card but the lock hole was taped over so anyone could enter.

I’ve passed this Motel 6 countless times traveling from the Bay to SD. Great midway stop for some much needed relaxation half way through the drive. I take my time and enjoy the drive and points of interest along the way. Great price. Got a king studio so definitely enough room for me and kitty. I love the very large 2 windows with shutters. They opened up all the way out with a large ledge for kitty to catch some sun and keep an eye out on things. Grapevine is in the backyard along with Hungry Valley. Quiet as heck. Staff is great as well. Will be stopping again if need be.

The photos and other reviews gave me high hopes but wow. What a let down. The blinds were so broken we had to use some bandaids we had to keep them closed. The floor was sticky and we could see a dried puddle of something in-between the beds. The doors were SO LOUD when people let them slam shut, which they did through the night, so we got minimal sleep. And the final kicker was the coffee was lukewarm. The only positives I can note was the counter staff both evening and morning were pleasant and the beds were surprisingly comfortable and blessedly clean. Location was nice too. But I'll probably shell out some extra cash next time for somewhere nicer.
