Motel 6 La Mesa, CA - San Diego

It's a nice place the rooms are very nice newly redone the only issue I had was there was no heater it didn't work and when I got out of the shower it was cold. Otherwise I would have given the rooms five stars what does 40 units so I'm sure all of them are like that I was in 225. And it's the best price in town over other motel 6 is also so if you're looking for a place enjoy your stay. 😁

From the moment that I showed up Everyone was very nice and personable. And when it came to the Cleaning staff They did a great great job cleaning my room So don't forget to tip them. I also want to brag about the bathroom its very Beautiful. Thank you very much for a great stay Hope to see you soon.

When I arrived, I asked if there was a first floor room. Upon checking, the young lady said yes and that it was the same price as the upstairs room. I was very happy about that. I unloaded the car and brought everything in and then as I looked around, I realized there was no fridge or microwave. I was very surprised about that, but then, I don't normally stay at Motel 6. I called the desk and asked, and was informed I should've known this. How would I know??? I thought every room had both! I asked if I could have the room upstairs that I was supposed to have. I was told yes, but it would cost me an additional $22! How could that be?? In any case I was hung up on by the young woman. About 15 minutes later she called to say her boss said I could have it for the same price. I was already read

The location is great to start with. Less than 5 minutes down the street is the Trolley station Green Line that can literally take you anywhere in San Diego area quickly or for a day trip to Little Italy or Old Town, it is so convenient! The truly best part of this property is the people though. The management, the customer service staff, everyone literally goes out of their way to try and make customers happy and whole. Owners/ managers were great about extending courtesy and understanding and desk manager went out of her way as if she was in our shoes. That's gold in my book and unheard of these days. The price was what we needed in an emergency but would have loved it for a weekend off and the courtesy and care we received we truly needed in the emergency. Thank you.
