Motel 6 King City, CA

Location was the only positive thing. Upon checking in, the room wasnt as clean as expected. There were hairs and crumbs/ dust on the table, under the beds, and in the bathroom. The thermostat did not power on the entire stay. There was no way to regulate the temperature in the rolm during our stay. The bathroom fan was so loud and made a grinding metal noise when turned on. Sorry to the oeople in the rooms around us for the noise. You cannot turn the bathroom light on without this fan on. We used the restroom in the dark at times to avoid the noise. The bathroom walls and ceiling had brown drip stains on them and the shower looked awful. The bathroom sink did not drain properly. The window had mold and a mildew smell around the window. On the road and quick stop to rest… Reserve two beds. Get to the counter . the guy says.“ you only reserve for one person.” .. $21 extra!! That’s the first thing he says… lol . kind of weird…. an oversight on me on the app .. but the room I got stated two beds. I checked the app just curious and I re-reserved this room stating two people and there was no $21 extra charge .. scam! Got suckered . This is first time traveling I’ve have encountered this $21 extra… .. the amenities in this property are dated very dated. Bring your Shampoo  there is only two pieces of soap that they provide and the bare minimum of towels . I’ve stayed at many motel 6 on the road… always straightforward get to the point places to rest.. .. maybe it is just the franchisee that run their motel is different..

Jan 29, 2024 rented a room at Motel 6 for the first time in King City, CA ($80 cash) at approx. 6:20pm. At 7:33pm, sent photo's to a family member showing bugs, fly poop above the bed, dirty bathroom, dirty air filters, torn sheets. Jan 30, spoke with location at 9:50am (Clarice who was GREAT) and emailed photo's, she said cleaning staff was coming in at 10am, they'll get that room taken care of. Had to wait for Mgr. to call. At 330pm, called Bobby, he said nothing wrong with the room (which they had probably already cleaned so he wouldn't see it!), but he can't explain how I would have pictures of the room within less than an hour after checkin. With not much choice of hotels in the area, this is what we came up with. The first room we went into smelled of smoke. We were given a 2nd room. The rooms are very small. One was pushed up against the wall, one pushed up against the heater. There were only 2 towels. One of the hand towels was ripped and stained terribly. The room itself was filthy. The curtains are stained. There are dirt spots all over the room. The flip over lock on the door is very loose- wouldn't stop anyone. There is only one little bar of soap to be used for the shower and sink. The bathroom is really yuck. The shower is dirty. The floor and surround area are awful. They do not supply any shampoo, conditioner, laundry bags, hairdryer. I wish we had more options, but this was it. Not a great way to spend Christmas E

Staying their was a nightmare, because having medical issues especially sleep, and Tv is a big help well they Had Big problems with their TV Service, meaning No TV. The Guy tried moving me from a King to Queen :( it seemed like excuses but he was just being honest and saying their having Big problems with TV Service. What was the good side of the 1 night stay was allowed pets at No Charge. Location was Kool and I ate at Surf n Turf. Room was very Small, Security locks were broken. Beds were clean an conformable but it was miserable No TV..Also on paper showed to me their were about 25 maybe more room complaints. :( Because of the disappointment, I canceled my return trip that I had booked their and went back home missing Grand daughters 16th B Day today, broke my ❤️ Personally I wouldn't
