Motel 6 Davenport, IA

this place is horrible. i know this ain’t no 5 star motel or whatever but this place is disgusting . there was hair and dead skin on all the beds, the toilet seat had literal feces and what looked like snot on it. the towels and pillows were all stained and yellow. it was fine for 1 night but they need to work on the cleanliness of this place. very gross. asked the front desk to replace the towels and pillows and rolled his eyes and said they’re all yellow so he can’t do that.

We've stayed at 3-dozen+ Motel 6 locations. This might be the worst I've encountered (I say that knowing just how low the bar is). The entire building smells like smoke, the guy at the counter was rude. There were no towels in the room, when I went to the front desk I was told "You need to return towels to get towels." When I tried to explain that there were no towels to begin with, the desk attendant wouldn't even make eye contact. He basically told me to go pound sand (I'm paraphrasing). When I asked for the manger he said, "He'll be here tomorrow." When I asked for the manager's name he said "We don't give that information out." ||If we weren't already here and exhausted I'd be going somewhere else.

Great Customer Service the rooms are clean but could use attention to detail attention. The linens are not as clean as they should be and I saw tiny black bugs in the bathroom. Linens and bed pillows needed to be cleaner. My only issues was the linens sheets and towels plus the pillows were not clean enough to be motel 6 quality. I would stay again but I would call ahead to make sure they know to make sure my room had cleaner linens. The customer service was good no attitudes very welcoming. The housekeeper no attitude very welcoming.

Positive: That they gave us a refund right away Negative: The bed did not have a blanket. There was hair all over the tub. The Jacuzzi that we paid $50 extra for to have in our room had trash and hair all over it. The website said they had an indoor pool but when we got there the pool had been broke for years.

It's a truckers motel. 24 hrs gas station across the street with affordable food. Don't expect Hilton amenities, I do know they wash the towels but whatever detergent they are using isn't worth much. Their cleaning supplies arent strong enough to cut through the amount of grime left by traffic but the rooms are spacious. They need to go ahead and lose the hallway carpet, cause its well past worn out and is holding a lot of smells. Day staff is friendly and helpful, night staff tolerates guests. Call pest control.
