Motel 6 Centralia, WA

The room was clean in the mattress was okay. I understand that it is a very basic room for a pretty cheap price. The biggest issue I have is not having my own air conditioner and heater so I could have just the temperature like I wanted. It was on a central unit and all I could use was thermostat that said cooler or warmer and had a switch for fan speed. I wanted the fan to run because I was on the second floor and it was too warm in there so when I turn the fan on it only made the room hotter. the only way to cool the room off was to open the door. I probably wouldn't choose this hotel again if that is the case with all of hotel chains. We had a very nice stay with you. We liked the new corner shower in room 212. And it was very quiet there. The TV worked well and it was easy to find the guide. Only negative was the cigarette smoky smell of the sheets. This was probably from someone smoking near the washing process; as the rest of the non-smoking room did not smell smoky. We did not report this to the staff onsite as it was not bad enough to make it worthwhile to move all our stuff to another room. We had to leave quite early and enjoyed the available coffee in the lobby. All in all a very nice stay.

Room was very clean. Nice shower. $63. There was a significant plumbing issue. Water leaking onto the floor and pooling under and around the bed, possibly from a broken pipe in the wall. Mgmt offered to give us a different room, but we declined as we hadn’t realized the standing water was an ongoing leak and thought we could mop it up. Amenities not present: shampoo, clock, coffee maker, hair dryer. No breakfast. Coffee currently not offered in lobby due to COVID-19.

For the price, it was safe, clean, and the beds were comfortable. We had two rooms and one of them smelled of smoke even though it was labeled non-smoking. It was basic. They had soap, but no shampoo or conditioner. There was no comment coffee in the rooms, but I think there was coffee at the front desk. We were looking for an inexpensive place to sleep while on the road, and this Motel 6 meet that need.

I drove 4 hours from Oregon with my children who are all under 6. I booked a two night stay at this hotel after reading the reviews. When I walked in, the girls were anything but professional. They seems more busy with their own conversation and acted like I was an inconvenience. I then was briefly explained where my room was. I finally found my room, a painted red door, that looked like at some point had been broken down. When I walked in with my kids, the room was cold and unpleasant. The bathroom was disgusting, the toilet seat was broken and the bath tub looked like it had never been cleaned. I couldn’t even fathom the idea of staying there, I felt so unsafe. I then went to the front desk hoping I could get my refund as I had only been there 20 min. I was told no, and there was no one
