Motel 6 Albuquerque, NM - North

Motel is in nice area and near gas stations and food. Motel rooms are inside the building which made me feel safer. Rooms were large and very clean, bathroom and shower were spacious. I was traveling with two cats and I love that they could stay free! Will stay again if ever in the area!

I booked this property after seeing it was rated as a 4 star property and had mostly good reviews on a booking platform I use ….which I found a bit surprising since it was a Motel 6. We arrived to check in and I wanted to turn around and run out…the front doors were nasty and not even glass..they looked like plexiglass , there were sketchy looking people sitting outside the front door smoking, the ashtray outside was packed full with cigarette butts, the whole place reeked of smoke. If I hadn’t arrived sick, I would have immediately left. We get to our room, and couldn’t find a light switch that worked..We finally found one light on the wall that worked and one that flickered, the room reeked of smoke, the bathroom floors were absolutely filthy, there was no blow dryer in the room and you

Positive: Floors Negative: the manager decided it was ok to have the carpet shampooed/clean outside of our room at 8am. We got in late and paid for a hotel so we could get done rest. I guess this was too much to ask of. Horrible place to stay Don’t stay here if you need rest

My boys and I usually stay at Choice hotels while in town but we decided to give this Motel 6 a try. Sure glad we did 🙂 The atmosphere was quiet and cozy. And added bonus was the nice and clean pool we had all to ourselves for the few days we stayed! What I'd love to mention though, is our interaction with the front desk. From answering our many questions over the phone before our arrival to checking us in, Jess was an absolute gem! We will definitely be back because of her friendliness. Keep up the good work, Jess!

I don't normally write reviews but this place was disgusting. There were roaches all over my room so I just packed up and left because I can put up with a lot of things but I'm not dealing with that. I wasn't expecting much really, I knew it was a cheap hotel I just needed a place to sleep for the night. However, I did expect it to at least not have roaches in the room crawling everywhere... the whole place is pretty run down and dirty, the elevator looked like it was going to break down any minute. The staff were kind of rude about the roaches, just said I'd have to call a manager to get my money back.
