Mossbrae Hotel

We had such a great stay at the Mossbrae Hotel! It was our first time in Dunsmuir and it’s such a charming little town. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and I left feeling inspired by their decor! Rechell was so helpful and made us feel welcomed. We’ll definitely be back!

My daughters and my stay at Mossbrae Hotel In Dunsmuir, CA, this past Thanksgiving week was so much fun, and the contemporary yet historical decor of the different rooms was so beautiful! We also loved looking at the gift shop and having complementary coffee and hot tea in the mornings. Also, we enjoyed the outdoor space in the back that was pretty and sunny even though it’s getting cool now in the fall. The remodeling of this 1920s building has been very well done and we’re looking forward to our next stay! Thanks again so much to Rachell, Jerilyn, and Cynneca for taking such good care of us!

😊: Large, well equipped and nicely decorated room. Very clean.. 😢: First experience of a remote check in hotel,,and it didn't go well. The email instructions weren't sent until a few hours before we were due to arrive. We had poor mobile reception and the email hadn't arrived when we got to the hotel. The number to ring for assistance was not in service. Eventually, we received three emails. One had the wrong room code and didn't work. The second gave us someone else's room number and code and allowed us access to their room (worrying). Finally, we got in and it was fine until the maid burst in on us before we were due to check out. She had obviously been given the wrong room number to clean. Clean: our room was immaculate! Michelle did an outstanding job preparing the room for our stay. Comfortable: by far the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in. So cozy we did not want to leave. Charming: so many cute touches, and Rachell is a wonderful host. We highly recommend Mossbrae Hotel in Dunsmuir!

This is our happy place! Whether it’s a quick trip or a long weekend we always leave feeling restored and reconnected. Every little detail is well thought out and purposeful and the staff is always kind and wonderful! We have stayed in multiple rooms and are always happy and impressed.
