Jubilee Railroad Wilderness Lodge

We didn't stay in the Rooms but stayed in the RV Park. It's a beautiful area and the camp bathrooms and showers were really nice. The RV pads were a bit rough and the sites are fairly packed together. The Railroad Restaurant is amazing with great food and service and very cool railroad feel!

We went up for the weekend it was amazing. We stayed in caboose number 2. It was clean and comfortable. The views are amazing. The food was more than amazing. Staff was friendly and made us feel like long time friends. Is great for couples, families, even pets with all the outdoor activity right there.

We recently stayed three nights and loved the experience. We are a family of four with an old dog. When we arrived, we loved the location right away. Our caboose was facing the creek. We could hear the water loud and clear. It was cold, but there are picnic tables to enjoy right next to the creek in warmer days. To the other side of the caboose is the pool and hot tub. ||As we entered the caboose we found a warm room. I appreciate not finding a freezing place that would take long to heat up. There was also a welcome kit for our dog with a towel, a bed/blanket, a couple things d treats and waste bags. My family stayed at jubilee railroad in Dec for 3 nights. The reason I am giving this establishment 2 stars is because the way they conduct their business. We arrive in the evening to find the caboose locked and we have to call at the emergency number to get us into the caboose. Mind you- it is raining. Secondly, we did not get our dog as it was no dogs allowed in the caboose we chose and at checkout, I see we are charged for this. So I point this out to the receptionist and I am told the manager will get back to us. It has been 2 months and 4 phone calls and no manager got back to us. We did not get our money back for services we did not buy. The location is good but you don’t have to stay in jubilee railroad for the view. You can park outside and just walk around. Had a wonderful stay in a fun unique park. Great location to commute to Mt. Shasta ski park. And with a five star restaurant located in the park, made the stay even better. The staff at the restaurant were very accommodating even when seats started filling up they let us eat in a special car that fit our needs perfectly.
