Cave Springs Resort

I’ve been coming here with my family ever since I was born. The new owners are great even tho I didn’t get a chance to meet them, I can see all the hard work they put into the place. Everything is beautiful and very well done! My only suggestion, is that it would be a great idea to put a chair in the rooms. I think a good place to put it would be in the bathroom area. That way you have a place to sit and do your makeup or take of your shoes etc. But other than that, everything was wonderful and the experience was great!

This is my happy place! In winter it’s cozy and close to the snow, with a variety of options/price points for family and friends to stay where they can afford together and not be trapped in one space. In summer it’s beautiful and in walking distance to waterfalls and the botanical garden. I have stayed in the modern and rustic cabins and the airstreams… not without minor hiccups but the people make the difference. Highly responsive and proactive and wanting guests to be happy and comfortable. It’s generally as clean as you can expect for a camping resort…amenities are outstanding. Cabins have the basics, so a trip to the market may be in order for incidentals like foil, but overall no different than what you’d need to bring on a camping trip.

My trip was in Sept last year. I loved this resort!! Nice and cozy rooms with retro feel. Fire pits in the yard with string lights so neat and so fun to be place. Romantic place to be with a partner and fun to be with a group. Mossbrae Falls is accessible from here. Walked through Mt Shasta retreat right next to it and along the tracks to reach the beautiful falls (only us to spend for an hour!!!). I will definitely book here again!!

I loved staying here! It was my first time to Mt. Stasha, and the resort is well situated. It's right next to the Sacramento River and a short drive to Hedge Creek Falls. The room was so nice and cozy with blankets and a heater in the bathroom. All of the details were well thought out. Do not miss out on the smores kit in the main office! You can also bring your own supplies and buy a bundle of wood from the office. That was fantastic!

This was a last minute stay on a road trip, and it exceeded expectations! This resort is so cute! The hotel room was so nicely appointed with retro luxury details. The bed was amazingly comfortable. We stayed warm and cozy. The property is also really well done. The smell of the trees was amazing. The Mt. Shasta look out was spectacular! I wish we had found it at night to see the Milky Way away from all the lights. I want to come back and spend more time to enjoy it! Caveat: this property is between the highway and the train tracks - both of which have heavy traffic. It’s loud. Light sleepers may not be happy. We were surprised at how quiet our room was and had no issues sleeping.
