We try to get cabin 11 every year. This cabin is the most popular and very hard to book. All the cabins seem very private however. It's a very nice, well kept quiet State Park. We love the fact the the cabins all have docks, we use them for our kayaks, we also love the bike trail. We're avid MBT trail riders but it's good to get off the trails every now and then. I definitely recommend Moraine State Park to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.
Awesome park. Well kept up and clean. Everyone who works there are awesome. Beautiful scenery. Beautiful lake . Cabins are in great shape and well kept up. They do need more Cabins which would bring in more people. Biking and hiking trails are great. Bike retail available along with a boat ride around the lake.
We rented cabin 10 and it was perfect for what we wanted. No neighbors on one side and has a nice relaxing view of the lake. We rented Nov 17-21 and all the docks were already pulled on land for the winter. The cabin itself is quite spacious and open. No TV but our projector worked just fine in place of one. Kitchen is fully equipped with appliances: normal size fridge, microwave, stove and oven, two sided sink, lots of cabinet space and a big table with seating for 6. Absolutely no supplies so bring your own everything (as stated on the websie). The porch is also a nice size and is covered. There is an electrical outlet on the porch. Built in grill but will need charcoal. The fire pit/fire ring at cabin 10 is a little janky: the ring is very tall, about 1.5-2 feet tall making it hard to w
A beautiful to view of the lake, a dock to watch the sunset, and trails to hike! There is a small playground for the children, and it is an easy walk to the beach. For only a short drive from the'Burgh, it feels like being away.
Love it here! So peaceful and quiet, having our own dock is awesome. Bike/running trail is great as well. Definitely will be back.
