Moose Creek Inn

This little inn is a great place to stay. We stayed 4 nights while we visited Yellowstone. The beds are very comfortable and the room was very clean. Even though we straightened the room every morning before leaving, when we returned it had been further refreshed and clean towels stocked in the bathroom. We were so impressed. You don’t get this service anymore at chain hotels. I guess the only con is that the internet service in our room did not work.

Great location near Yellowstone, with clean and well-kept rooms. The shower area was small but manageable. Unfortunately, the room doors didn’t have interior latches for added security. Housekeeping knocked after 9 a.m. (checkout time was 11). As the knock was unanswered — we were in sleep — he opened the door. Providing housekeeping with a list of vacated rooms would help avoid such situations. I wish latches were provided; it would have made the stay even better (also, safer). Otherwise, courteous staff and a great place overall.

Positive: The location of this hotel was great. Easy access to downtown and food places nearby and about a 5 minute drive to the park! Super cozy and a great place to end our long days. Negative: The shower was EXTREMELY tiny.

This place was a last minute find. It was a small local hotel. We had a king bed room on the second floor. It was super clean, the bed was comfortable, the room had what we needed. There wasn't a closet, and there wasn't a dresser. There were two drawers under the bed that worked for our short stay. The staff was the best part of the stay. They were super friendly and were truly interested in us and what we needed. The location was also one of the best parts. We were only about 2 minutes from the west gate to Yellowstone. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a nice place to see the park from. If you are looking to see the north loop of the park I would recommend staying in a different location other than west yellow stone because it is a lot of driving to get back.

I checked out of motel at 7am. Went to Yellowstone. Came back at 2 to retrieve something I left. Maid was still there and said she never saw it. Total lie. I left it there. Don't leave anything behind. It's gone if you do. Everything was clean, but for a few dollars less than $300. a night...not worth it. No microwave and not that nice of a place.
