Monument Hill Boat Launch

It is a great place to cool off and have a picnic or launch your boat. It's usually fairly quiet. The bathrooms are flush toilets but they are up the hill from the actual boat launch. It's just far enough that I will get back in the car to drive up instead of walk. They seem to clean them fairly often though. I still take TP and lysol wipes along. I like that the area is dog friendly as long as they are on leash.

Small sandy day use area with a boat ramp and a dock. It's free and has over 5 picnic tables at the small beach area. There are a few trees by the tables but I don't think they will provide much shade during summer. Also has a bathroom as well

The water is usually crisp and cold in summer, and the reliable breeze makes it a great place to just come and relax even on the warmest days. The boat ramp is large enough for most recreational watercraft, and it's a popular spot for sailboarding as well.

Wow, so easy to access this water spot with lots of parking. If you plan on paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing…such a unique place to go. Parking was easy.
