Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton Oroville

This hotel ignored my room location request. They did offer to have me move to another room though, which I declined because it was more work than it is worth. This hotel is a water and energy saver, so it is very "brisk" inside the hotel in the morning. I was asked, but did not recieve my welcome amenities. Also there is very very low water pressure (a slow run from the shower). I came back to the hotel, with this posted on the doors...I do not know if it is a joke or someone does not know what a skunk actually looks like(is this a norse battle squirrel?). The breakfast is very very basic, so do not expect even "hotel" breakfast at this location. There are better hotels very close, so I cannot recommend this location. I will go elsewhere on future travels.

We arrived after 12 hours of driving on a long road trip and all we wanted was a shower and a good night’s rest. When I went in the shower, there was hair all over as well as stains. It was obvious the shower had not been cleaned. This is the least you expect from a hotel! I then started questioning if the sheets were even washed. My husband had already fallen asleep so there was nothing I could do. I did speak to the manager in the morning and all she offered was a $45 credit. I did not think this was adequate. She asked for the photos that I took of the shower and the stained doors and said she would get back to me. She never did! Last time I stay at this dirty hotel!

Lovely stay.  Gracious staff, comfortable room.  Would definitely recommend.  Pup thought it was perfect🐾

Had a one night stop here. Was exactly what I’d expect for a Hampton inn if not a little better as it appears quite new. Starbucks and a diner (I think) next door was nice but apart from that everything else was a short drive. Not a lot to choose from oroville but this property was very much what you’d expect from Hampton Inn.
