Monterey Bay Suites

I booked for two nights at Monterey Bay Suites with family and we really enjoyed our stay. From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff were very friendly and super helpful, they seemed really interested in making our visit a pleasant one. The beds were so comfortable and the rooms spacious. The bathroom and kitchen were clean and perfectly located in between the two main rooms which was perfect for our small family weekend gathering. I personally enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony. Overall we had a great experience and definitely would recommend this place!!!

Pros: We love the spacious room setup. Although we did not use the kitchen or coffee pot, it was nicely arranged with a nice sized fridge. I love that the elevators open up right into the parking deck near the rooms. The kitchen staff (specifically the beautiful woman Barbara who sang to me each morning and became like a friend) was so friendly, the food very good. And the view to the ocean from my room as well as the breakfast area, was delightful to wake up to each morning. Housekeeping was nice, coming each day to change the towels! Nice clean balcony with two chairs to sit on and enjoy the view.||Cons: Very, very outdated rooms. Our room did not have one single USB charging port in it.. some of the other floors my friends were in did so I’m not sure why this one didn’t… we have

We arrived on Friday the 27th. The staff was very nice. Got to our room and immediately noticed a unpleasant smell. We had to clean multiple surfaces because it looked like no one had cleaned the room. Furniture had torn spots. Bathroom sink faucet was loose, and we seen a roach crawling out of the Murphy bed area. Saturday evening we had the pleasure of speaking to the front desk ladies and they were awesome. Very personable. They get a 10. All the staff at the hotel were very nice. Pools were great and very warm and clean. Parking garage was horrible. Very tight space and don't recommend if you drive a decent sized vehicle.

Loved our month stay at Monterey Bay suites. Room was very comfortable and had everything needed to feel like home. The beach and views are beautiful. Woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise. But what made this stay even better is the staff. All extremely kind, helpful, thoughtful. Couldn’t have had the perfect stay without each and every one of them. Thank you to Ishmall and John at the front desk. They helped from booking our room to a perfect check in, great recommendations and friendly conversation! Deborah and Ryan for our daily breakfast. Dana, Gloria and Pat in housekeeping for always providing us with a clean “home”! Obviously we will be making this our home away from home again and again!
