Our stay Hi we're driving home after staying at your "resort". I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in a hotel stay, let alone a resort. My kids were so excited to swim and play in the "water park" but when we got there it was barely lit, the water must have been barely 60 degrees. My daughter wouldn't even get in, we had to pile into the hot tub bc that was the only water we could tolerate. The towels were basically wash cloths. The bar and restaurant weren't open which was also kind of Frustrating. The woman "working" at the pool mentioned they were debating opening when we arrived but I wish they had just cancelled our reservation and gave our money back. They put us up on the 6th floor and I swear no one else was ip there. The hallways were so dingy and not lit. There were n

On December 30th, 2025, I called the Montego Bay Hotel to make a reservation for a one night stay at the hotel. I spoke to Joel, and specifically asked to stay in one of the renovated rooms at the hotel. He said that wouldn’t be an issue, and I secured the room for January 10th, 2026. On January 10th, 2026, I checked into room 612 at the hotel. As soon as I opened the door to the hotel room, I knew there was a problem. The kitchen looked as if it was from the 1960’s. I walked further into the room, and discovered the sofa, which was supposed to be a tan color. Unfortunately, the armrests to the couch were black from years of built up dirt. Needing to call my fiancé to let her know about the condition of the room, I looked for a closet to hang the clothes that I brought with me. The only c

Been going to this hotel with family for 15+ years for vacations near the end of the season or the off seasons. Liked the indoor water park with two water slides (with the enclosed slide being added sometime in the mid 2010s). Since 2020, this hotel has been undergoing a slow renovation process Despite some issues during the stay, I definitely recommend.||Issues listed that should be corrected:|-Gas smell in room 419 from a stove that was turned on, thankfully staff were able to move us to another room, 420.|-Damaged window in water park|-Some signage still advertising an arcade and conference center even though they're long gone, and a sign advertising a laundry room even though it's nonexistent|-Some vending machines are often out of stock and haven't been restocked in God knows how long

I am extremely disappointed with our recent stay. From the moment we arrived, it was one issue after another. First, our toilet did not work. We called twice and even spoke to someone in person, yet no one ever came to fix it. For a suite meant to accommodate a large family, that’s completely unacceptable. The “water park” was incredibly misleading. It consisted of only two small slides that even the little kids in our group couldn’t use. On top of that, the pool water was freezing, making it uncomfortable for the children to swim. The elevator took forever to arrive, and then it was completely broken the next day, which made moving luggage and managing small children extremely difficult. Inside the suite, several basic amenities were either missing or broken. There was no ice bucket and n

Common areas(halls/elevator)def need updating but units was brand new and exceptionally clean. We stayed in superior/family suite w/ sea view/ocean front.1 bedroom. Views were perfect. Balconies were completely private, AC super cold, water pressure non existent, very quiet.Missing some small touches-no mirror in bedrooms, wastebaskets, paper towel ,screen for sliding door, coffee table but looked like it was literally just redone so hopefully that will come. We only peeked in at indoor pool/water park but it was way better than I was expecting. It was really cute and was clean and looked fun for kids with a snack bar area and play area and hot tubs. Outdoor pool is small. Plenty of chaise lounges and picnic tables on pool deck that spans 3rd level of front of hotel overlooking boardwalk. Lo
