Roman Holiday Resort

These are Privately owned condos. Maybe about 60 condos. We had a room that my wife had to clean when we arrived but didn’t complain. When we went to bed that night we couldn’t sleep in the bed because the mattress was so old it was sinking. Under the sheets the whole bed had large areas of Sand. Alyssa who works there was a witness. When we told Dan the manager he was No Help and said he would tell the owner. He didn’t want to come to see the bed. Again they are all privately owned so if you get a room with a good owner then you should be good but we weren’t that lucky. Dan was No Help. Terrible Disgusting |Couldnt sleep in one of the beds as it was so old the mattress was sinking. Both beds had sand under the sheets all over in different areas. Disgusting. Told Dan the manager who didn’t help but only said he would tell the owner. These are privately owned condos so you can get a bad one or maybe a good one depending on the owner but Dan is the manager who should of came to the room and see the beds but he didn’t want to because he already had to know IMO or why wouldn’t he come and take a look to see we were not able to sleep in the sinking bed. Roman Holiday - North Wildwood (4 nights)|On a previous stay, I asked Dan, Manager of Roman Holiday Motel, to pinpoint his best unit. He directed us to a top floor unit which faces the ocean/beach. He offered a great deal on 4 nights the last week in August. Upon arrival, we were accommodated with our early check-in request. Dan efficiently did our check-in and we were thrilled with the room’s premier view of the beach and ocean. The unit had a single bedroom with two queen beds, a drip and a Keurig coffee maker, cooking and eating utensils, great fridge with an ice maker, etc. Roman Holiday is an enjoyable property with its convenient location to beach and boardwalk, its social perks of a great pool area, a sunning and grilling station, an elevator and deck seating outside all units for p

The most horrible "vacation" ever. Room was disgusting - stains of God knows what on the obviously unchanged bed sheets. The room was also misrepresented. It is literally a converted storage/mechanical or maintenance room - that sits directly behind the elevator. Not one place to put a suitcase let alone unpack it. Dan the manager said that's what we paid for. When shown proof of pictures on their own! Website that it is not the same, he just shrugged his shoulders and offered $50 bucks, along with an attitude. 5 other couples went - all had some sort of problem - needless to say none of us will ever go back.

To say staying at the Roman holiday is like staying with family is an understatement. Not only were the people staying in the hotel so nice but the Staff was superior and honestly amazing. My daughter lost her wallet in the hotel room and Nicolas who was cleaning our room found it and returned it to management. They proved that there are still wonderful people in this world. Management reached out to me and I was able to send them a shipping label and Alyssa so kindly boxed my daughter’s wallet and took it to a shipping location for me. They really go above and beyond . 🙏🏽❤️
