Monteagle Inn & Retreat Center

My husband and I had the most amazing weekend experience at Monteagle Inn. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by amazingly friendly and helpful people. The hostess showed us around and to our room. The room was so nice. The bed was so comfortable and so clean. We enjoyed the living room area and made friends with other couples. The breakfast was so delicious and the service was excellent. Snacks, sodas, water, and ice cream was always available. They recommended excellent restaurants for lunch and dinner. We will certainly return for another visit.

Great way to kick off the holidays. This was our 4th year enjoying the Inn at Christmas. If you're not in the Christmas mood before you get there, you will be soon after arriving. All rooms are decorated for the season. The Inn features a multitude of holiday decorations, including multiple trees. Hungry for a snack? Need some bottled water, a soft drink, or chips? It's all there for you in the self-serve snack room. Oh, and plenty of bite-sized candy throughout. And a great breakfast. You won't go hungry, but you might leave with a few extra pounds. And the staff will take care of your every need.

This was my fourth stay at Monteagle Inn, and it is always absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The moment we arrived; we were greeted with warm Southern hospitality and the peaceful charm that makes this inn so special. We left feeling refreshed, cared for, and already look forward to our next visit.

I facilitate a college reunion each year for about 30-40 friends. We have been to Monteagle Inn and Retreat Center twice and love, love, love it! The staff is friendly and efficient, the facility is warm and inviting. The food is delicious and the owner is so accommodating we felt pampered. We were there 4 days and didn't have a single complaint. Fabulous experience!!

I stayed here with my mother as a short mother daughter trip, and we had an absolute blast! We are from Chattanooga and the drive was super beautiful and smooth, we loved seeing all the trees and mountains. Our favorite place we ate at was the Mountain Goat Market, which is right next door to the Inn! Our room was super comfortable, and Harley made our check in easy and even gave us a little tour of the property. We spent the evening on the rocking chairs on the porch, listening to another guest strum his banjo for a bit. I’m in the process of trying to convince the rest of my family to come up here so I can go again!
