Monkey Island Riverside Resort

We stayed in a villa for three nights right on the water during the week. It was nice and quiet. The villa is like brand new. The decor and all amenities are perfect. The hotel staff is very accommodating and they have kayaks and boats available for rent. We rented kayaks. It was nice and quiet here and we are looking forward to come back here sometime. Would love to see the pool and monkey bar once it’s finished being remodeled.

The room is clean enough; older building that has been renovated. One chair to sit in. Nowhere to hang clothes. Nowhere. No closet or hooks or rod. No hook on the back of bathroom door. ||We hung them on the shower rod until it’s time to shower then we threw them on the bed. Weird, as there is lots of wall space and plain hooks would be better than nothing. Nowhere to hang your garment bag to unpack it. On the bed. ||Then there is one large side table/ night stand between the beds but its so big there isn’t room for night stands one the other side of the bed so no light, no bedside table for your phone or water. |Not very accommodating. ||Spectrum internet that is down more than it’s up. |Speed was ok when it was working but I hooked up my Apple Tv and couldn’t stream more than a few minut

Great vibes at this spot! Cheap drinks and the blue fish dip was 🔥 Not sure if this was a one off but there was a sworm of bees just chilling at the bar. No one seemed to mind but had me with a head on a swivel! Def coming back next time I'm in town!

Perfect location to see wildlife and the monkeys on the island. Good service, but we were unprepared for certain things. Hairdryer, paper towels and cream and sweetner for the coffee. Bed was a little soft for us. Exhaust fan doesn't work in bathroom and in the shower the hot and cold are backwards. Be aware, with wood floors you hear everything upstairs! Take a nightlight if you want to see in the bathroom at night. Otherwise great...

Miserable place to visit. There's three parking spots for many restaurants and bars. You have to park miles away. it's absolutely ridiculous we didn't even stop, we drove around for 20 minutes looking for a parking spot. They've got them all reserved. so would I recommend going here? Absolutely not! there's a lot of land in America, go someplace where they reserve some for parking.
