Mitchell inn

When first arriving the front desk person was laying on the couch in the lobby. Ive been in the hotel industry myself for 20 plus years and know thats not how a guest should be greeted. Also when getting into the room there was cockroaches under by the cable box and on night stand between beds. I had my puppy and was going to pay the fee for her but after i seen cockroaches i didnt bother. I will not be staying again.

IM A MONTHLY STAY OVER AND IVE BEEN HERE SOME MONTHS ..I LIKE THE PLACE ITS NICE AND SO ARE THE STAFF ..ITS VERY QUIET.... ALSO PET FRIENDLY ITS NOT A BAD PLACE AFTER ALL ....SO COME COME OVER TO MITCHELL INN IF U NEED A PLACE TO STAY VERY AFFORDABLE....

When we arrived the receptionist was chatting outside and not at the desk, seemed annoyed when we asked her help. The room was decent, but the lock was broken on the door, the fire alarm had its batteries removed (massive safety violations ) and to top it all off I found roaches on the walls. It's cheap yes, but given another opportunity I would have stayed at either of the neighboring hotels. Stay clear!

The roaches almost carried our chug away! The four roaches got away that were involved! Be careful the bugs are still at large!!!

We are grateful they were able to give us a room in the middle of the night as we breeze through to the next town. As most of the places in town were fully booked. With that being said, this is a low-budget motel. They changed their name recently from Rodeway Inn to Mitchell in. They are the same owners. So that leaves you wondering why the name change? We walked in to be hit by a very strong smell. The cleaners they use are highly scented. They did have a tiny mini fridge and microwave in the room (microwave on the floor). The A/C worked well (but was dirty with dead bugs in it). Everything worked in the bathroom just fine, but the vent fan was super loud with a rattle noise. So we just used our phone flashlight to go to the bathroom. The bed was mid. It was semi firm but has a protector
