Comfort Inn & Suites Mitchell I-90

Everything about our stay was perfect. The fact that this hotel has not only a pool with a waterslide, but a lifeguard on duty is such a huge plus. The hot breakfast with waffles, eggs, and sausage (plus lots more) was excellent. The breakfast staff kept everything full and clean. We even forgot toothbrushes and the hotel had a spare. Any time we drive across the state, we will be staying here!

They have a decent pool with a water slide and sort of a pirate ship. I would not recommend going down the slide without a tube. There is a connection that is raised just before you go into the dark part of the slide and I hit my elbow. Hurt for about a week or two. Rooms were as expected. Seemed pretty clean. Had an issue with the bathroom light and they got it fixed right away. It's right off the interstate and Red Robin and a convenient mart/ gas station is right next door.

The beds are shot! Didn't get much sleep. Smelled like animals. Very little lighting, even in the bathroom was low lighting. Pull out bed was not made and only one blanket. Breakfast was a joke! Pool was fun for the kids. Pretty expensive for what we got!

Positive: Pool for the kids was great! Main reason why we picked this hotel! Negative: That you are not able to use the lobby after breakfast house they have it closed off which is not fun for groups like my family likes to get together and play cards and we were not allowed to.

Shout out to JENNY at the front desk for going ABOVE and BEYOND! An item of ours was turned into the lost and found. We needed!to have the item mailed to us, and she made it happen! Thank you! This was a very nice, clean hotel with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the Comfort Inn and Suites in Mitchell, SD.
