Misty Mountain Lodge and Cabins

Our stay at Misty Mountain Inn was truly wonderful. The natural beauty surrounding the property is stunning, and we spent most of our time enjoying the incredible local hikes. We were traveling with three kids under the age of five, and they all had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying the outdoors. The cabin was great for our family and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The facilities are excellent and the owners are really great people who made us feel very welcome. We truly loved our time there and highly recommend it for a mountain getaway.

Stayed at the hiker's haven cabin. Loved it. Perfect for our Chihuahua also. He noticed a chicken for the first time. It was hysterical. There's a cute little chicken coop on the property. Cabin was cozy and well kept. Waterfalls and hiking is just a short drive. Easily accessible. Would definitely recommend Misty mountain.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay! The cabin itself was very clean and well organized. We enjoyed walking around the property (sometimes with chickens!) and noticing the smaller details (bird houses, animal statuary, and so on). After hiking at Vogel State Park, it was nice to enjoy the indoor fireplace. None of this would have been possible without our kind and knowledge hosts—Bill and Sarah. We plan to be back this summer.

My daughter, our dog and I had the most wonderful stay at Misty Mountain. We absolutely loved it and felt very safe here. Our cabin , Dragonfly, felt like home away from home. Misty mountain is located near many wonderful trails and restaurants and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for peace and serenity in a beautiful location. Last but not least, I want to mention that Bill, the owner, is such a wonderful, kind person, and you can feel that the moment you meet him, always welcoming, friendly, helpful. We just can’t wait to go back again. It is truly an exceptional place, heaven on earth.

Easy to find location in the mountains. Hosts are very responsive. The chickens on site were super friendly and very entertaining to watch. Would recommend driving over to Tallulah Falls for a hike and stopping at Tallulah 1882 for a coffee or pastry. Great trip overall!
