Cabins at Highland Falls

Great place. Sightseeing at close places. Waterfalls and hiking nearby. Great independent restaurants. Many cabins to choose from. Creek is easy to get to and banks are flat. Easy for old guys and our Grandkids. Larry the onsite manager is helpful and friendly. Deer, turkeys and other critters came by in the evening. Probably in the morning but we didn’t get out early. We hope to get back when there is snow. Cabin was clean and well stocked. My wife was happy with that.

I absolutely enjoyed staying at the Oasis cabin in Highland Falls. This cabin was amazing, it had a two story flagstone wood burning fireplace with an impeccable decor. The best part was the 40 foot deck. We had a large family visiting and there was so much room with wraparound seating and a sunken hot tub. Although it slept 7, we easily could entertain 15-20 on the deck with ample seating. During the day our young children played badmitten and volleyball out back, they even had a volley ball net set up for play. This had to be the most relaxing vacation I could ever imagine..we will definitely come back and stay at the Oasis!!

Expecting somewhat rustic, but found the cabins to be well-appointed with comfy beds and modern amenities. We enjoyed a family reunion with family members in different cabins. All are similar and just a short walk from one another. We enjoyed evenings on the porch …watching the deer along the tree line and listening to the creek nearby. The dark sky allowed us to star gaze, too! Even in late June there was a cool breeze that allowed us to spend most of our time outdoors. The AC inside was a bonus. This little enclave is a real gem!

The cabins at highland falls are a group of "cabins" on this property. I put cabins in quotes because they are really very, very nice A frame homes. I was expecting a "cabin" and what I found was a beautiful knoty pine A frame home. ||It was fully equipped with a TV in the main room and bedroom with Direct TV, a Sauna tub, washer/dryer, great king size bed, coffee maker, microwave, Everything top notch.||The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. There is a screened in porch with a great grill that we didn't use. A fireplace with logs available - which we didn't use. ||It is really a beautiful place. There are "cabins" nearby, but not very close. Beautiful scenery, very quiet. ||My only complaint is that we were there for only two nights. I am sorry that I didn't stay longer.||I was

It's a beautiful location and has a lot of potential. The evergreen cabin needs a good cleaning. It smelled musty and when we open the windows there was a lot of dead bugs and dirt on the window sills. The master bedroom closet smell like mildew and when we turned on the jacuzzi the Jets emptied out a lot of black debris. The king mattress in the master bedroom needs to be replaced. It felt like you were sleeping in a ditch. However, the area is beautiful and has a beautiful view of the mountains. Larry the property manager was very nice, but I'm sure he needs help keeping these places clean. The back porch is an awesome place to sit down and smoke a cigar and having a cocktail of your choice. The cabin is stocked with everything you need.
